In the 90s, PatchworkProse.com was
my first registered domain.
I started out hosting it on a Linux computer in
my home office.
As my freelance business expanded, I found that I didn't
have time for it.
I was glad to find that the domain name was still available in the Spring of 2012. At the end of 2012,
following a year or so of ill health (low blood oxygen level), I formally
retired, finishing up with the loose ends during the next six months.
[It was my practice to retain file backups for two years, so they're all gone, now.
You have no idea how good that feels.]
I have started over with this site several times since then, writing some book reviews and reactions to others. I also included some of my published and previously unpublished short stories and articles.
I am not sure what I want to do here, aside from upload the recordings I made of poems that were used on the Science Fiction Poetry Association's (SFPA) Online Halloween Poetry Reading pages between 2006 and 2015. I think I'd also like to include reprints of my articles on The Artist's Way and other topics that were published in Loretta Kelmsley's Moondance Magazine.
Also, sometimes I just like to listen to myself talk.
I have reinstalled WordPress and made a few posts, now, on what I'm reading.
